Humans are creatures of habit, and I am no exception. As much as I thrive off experiencing new things, I go to the same coffee shops when I want to work outside of the house.
This weekend I am house/pet sitting for my best friend, who lives about 15 minutes away in an area that I frequent as well. I've been to just about every Starbucks and mom-and-pop coffee shop by her house, but lo and behold...thanks to Siri I did find one Starbucks I've never been to.
What I did notice from working somewhere different was that my creative energy is much different. I feel a bit more focused, a little more relaxed, and not so much in a rush to complete everything on my To Do list.
