Day 15: Pounding the Chicken

Pounding chicken
I like to cook, but I tend to cook the same dishes over and over...and over...

While channel surfing last night I came across Sam the Cooking Guy and watched him cook breaded chicken breast. However, instead of cooking the chicken breast as is (which I usually do), he put it in a zip lock bag and flattened it with a bottle.

It suddenly hit me: Oh, so that is what those wooden square mallets do? I'm sure I've seen somebody do it before on beef, but it never really registered in my mind or inspired me to try it out myself.

Well, it just so happened that Cory bought chicken breasts, so I took out an empty champagne bottle and started pounding!

And here was tonight's dinner...
